Director Ben Nakamura Whitehouse Signs with Tomorrow

Los Angeles-based production company Tomorrow has added director Ben Nakamura Whitehouse to its premium roster for US commercial representation. Ben’s dynamic mix of comedy-driven storytelling, high production values, and visually distinctive cinematic worlds makes him a fitting addition for Tomorrow’s world-class creative talent slate. Most recently, Ben has directed noteworthy campaigns for Masterclass, Amazon, Pinterest, Google, Crea, and Weetabix.

Based in London and born to Welsh and Japanese artist parents, Ben’s work blends British irony with worldly comedic sensibilities. Ben studied photography and cinematography at film school, which explains why, as a comedy and performance director, he places a lot of importance on elevating the visuals. His approach to commercials is that even comedy is an overwhelmingly visual medium.

Ben started his career in advertising as a director’s assistant and ghost writer to some of the biggest commercial talents in the world, including Jonathan Glazer and Ivan Zacharias. Overseas, Ben is repped for commercials by Stink Films in European and other territories and Revolver Films in Canada.
