It’s too bad their hardware support is so incredibly limited. I remember running this on a Pixel 3a XL way back when it was only a couple years old.
And still that’s the latest one they have any support for.
I do have a Oneplus 6t still, but it says VolLTE doesn’t work, which seems sort of important, and that phone is so old it’s 4G only.

Seems to me that there are cheaper non- electronic thingamabobs that can do the refrigerator note thing at Staples probably – chalk board, dry marker board, magnetic lcd thingamabob and of course good old post-its (don’t forget the hyphen or it looks naughty).

Not sure if it has the chops, but could make a very neat Squeezelite Lyrion controller – the same display resolution as a Joggler so several skins available but much more compact?

I saw some other product like this on this site a while back, had a bigger screen, but I can’t for the life of me remember what it was called.

Anyway, this kinda feels similar. A way to have a handful of screens that display stuff like the weather or aggregate notifications, assuming someone ever develops software for that and search engines will actually let you find it. It’s just that with a bunch of them you can dedicate a single screen to a single feed and not worry about trying to program a way to display multiple feeds on one screen.

As for replacing sticky notes…you could spend $50 on sticky notes and have enough for a lifetime. And they’re recyclable.

You just told me you didn’t bother to look at the specs before casting your uninformed opinion.

The listing clearly states touchscreen. Less clear but visible on the pictures, are 3 buttons on the side. It also has a microphone as “you can speak to write notes,” on the stock fw.

How bout a modicum of understanding before opening your mouth.

If this can pull calendar info from say Google or MS, then it would be very useful to have on the fridge. Otherwise I see no value in it.

the only usage I see – stick this on the fridge, but it has no front buttons and no touchscreen to complete tasks, so it’s useless

In reply to Alex. Their other small devices have 300ppi screens. Those are clearly not e-paper price tags, which have maybe 150ppi at the most. I'm curious to see what price point this one will hit. My Boox Poke3 has been my daily driver for four years. I wouldn't mind something smaller for waiting rooms and lunch stops while traveling, but the Palma is just too expensive for a secondary device.

Yeah thats why the awesome leaked xbox360 Goldeneye never came out. They went ahead with the game while license negotiations ere ongoing….and were basically done when licensing failed.
