Frequently
Asked Questions
I'm interested - how do I begin?
After creating your account, you'll be able to select a package and begin our guided interview process. This journey is designed to help you gather memories and milestones from every stage of your loved one's life, so we can create a single, beautifully told story together.
What should I know about filling out the intake form? How much time should I set aside?
Our StoryCraft tool is divided into eight sections that cover each stage of your loved one's life in detail through a range of open-ended questions that allow you to include as much detail as possible. The more details you provide, the richer your story will be. You may want to connect with friends, family or community members to help fill in the blanks. Don't worry — you can save your progress and return any time before submitting your final version.
Who reviews my story after I submit it?
Every story is reviewed by a Lives Told editor, who will help ensure your story is the best it can be.
Can I make changes after submitting my story?
Once you submit your story for review, no further edits can be made at this time, but we are exploring product features to allow for edits in the future. If you have questions or realize you've missed something, please reach out to us at livestold@postmedia.com. We're here to help.
