Multigenerational family-owned and operated Larken Associates boasts a portfolio of approximately 2,500 residential units and nearly 4 million square feet of commercial space throughout New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Founded over 50 years ago, the Branchburg-based business continues to develop across the region. In the past four years alone, Larken has brought more than 1,000 new residences to market and added several existing communities to its portfolio. Next up, a 120-unit luxury multifamily property in Pohatcong slated to debut this year following its 2022 start. Lawrence Gardner founded Larken Associates in 1965 and remains chairman of the board. His son, David, joined the company in the early 1980s and currently serves as president and CEO. Today, Larken’s services include acquisitions and entitlements, financing, commercial property and asset management, brokerage, residential property and asset management, and construction. Through Larken Cares, the company supports local organizations and events – as well as global efforts.
