Beth Wilkinson Studio is a graphic design and editorial studio with a focus on publications, branding and creative direction.

The studio was born through the creation of Lindsay (lindsaymagazine.co), an award-winning independent magazine founded, edited and designed by Beth Wilkinson. Lindsay published cultural storytelling from a global contributor list through a signature visual lens. It was sold at museum stores and independent bookshops across 30+ countries, including MoMA PS1, The Whitney, Yvon Lambert, Ofr Paris, Gucci Garden, Daikanyama T-Site and the Tate Modern. It attracted an international community of readers and hosted events at places like Maryam Nassir Zadeh, McNally Jackson and Heide Museum of Modern Art.

Beth’s experience in design and publishing has seen her speak at the New York magazine symposium ModMag and on publishing panels at the National Gallery of Victoria, and write for The Saturday Paper and NGV Magazine. She has been a guest on Monocle 24 and ABC radio and profiled in PopEye (Tokyo) and It’s Nice That (London). She is a lecturer at RMIT University and has worked in the Masters of Communication Design and the Bachelor of Visual Communication and Design.

Beth co-founded and designed Very Good Films (verygoodfilms.co), an online film catalogue that profiles a tightly-curated list of personal film recommendations in a single-page digital index. The site, which launched as a Covid lockdown project, developed a loyal following and was profiled on The New York Times.

Beth Wilkinson Studio works with clients internationally on all kinds of creative projects from the seventh floor of the Nicholas Building in Naarm/Melbourne. Her practice spans custom publishing, brand development, creative direction, editorial development, publication design, website design, photography, communications strategy and consulting.

VIAJE A LOS AMULETOS
A book by Agnes Studio
With photographs by Andrés Altamirano and a poem by Rosa Chávez
Published by Lindsay

Estefanía de Ros and Gustavo Quintana-Kennedy of Agnes Studio are joined by Andrés Altamirano on a journey across Guatemala. Together, they capture the story of ‘Amuletos’, Agnes’s first solo show in Mexico City. This book, ‘Viaje a Los Amuletos’, is their ‘Journey to Amuletos’. It is an exploration and documentation of Guatemala’s cultural and artistic heritage. It is a journey of discovery, of materiality and of place – a search for the symbols and elements of good luck and fortune that connect us as humans, weaving together the threads of ancient tradition and contemporary design.
