What made you want to join Airbus Public Safety and Security?

I started my career working on mission-critical systems.  I’ve always been driven by complex, high-stakes projects where performance and reliability are non-negotiable. Airbus PSS (Public Safety and Security) offers exactly that - an environment where challenges push you to deliver your best. The scale, impact, and technical depth of Public Safety Security projects align perfectly with my passion for delivering secure, resilient communication systems that truly matter.

Can you explain your role within Public Safety and Security?

I serve as a Senior Technical Solution Manager and Security Solution Lead. My responsibilities cover the full lifecycle of mission-critical applications - from the bid and architecture design phases through to deployment and delivery. I manage solutions across a large region, including the Middle East, Africa, India, and Asia. I also collaborate with the central architecture team to continuously evolve our technical frameworks based on lessons learned and feedback from real-world implementations.

What are the key priorities for the Security Solutions team at Public Safety and Security right now, and how does your role directly contribute to those goals?

Our primary focus is on developing the next generation of mission-critical applications as we transition from narrowband to broadband technologies. This shift introduces significant challenges - especially in educating customers about the fundamental differences and the potential of broadband systems to enable new operational use cases. My role bridges the technical and strategic aspects of this transition, ensuring secure architecture design, stakeholder alignment, and solution scalability across diverse environments.

What’s an example of a security project that you’ve found rewarding/stimulating?

One of the most exciting and complex projects is with Aramco Digital. We are helping to build a complete mission-critical communication network from the ground up. It’s a massive end-to-end project requiring deep technical integration, cross-domain coordination, and strong stakeholder communication. The complexity and strategic importance of the project make it both challenging and rewarding.

Do you integrate AI-driven solutions into the security offerings and operations for our customers?

We’ve started weaving AI into our daily routines, but this is just the beginning. Our vision is to normalize AI across development and operations, leveraging automation to boost efficiency and stay ahead of operational challenges before they arise.
