My first encounter with WordPress happened back in 2015, just after I graduated from campus. At the time, I was confident with PHP, HTML, and CSS, and in my first internship, I was literally hard-coding entire websites from scratch. When it came to content management systems, Joomla was what I had briefly dabbled in.

Then one day, a client came in asking for an eCommerce website built on WordPress—a platform I hadn’t touched before. I was handed the challenge: “Go learn how to install and use WordPress.”

So, I did.

I spent an entire week deep in YouTube tutorials and online documentation, figuring out how to set up WordPress locally and build a basic page layout. I didn’t end up leading that project, but I assisted the lead developer and learned a ton in the process. That experience opened the door to a whole new world for me.

Since then, WordPress has become my go-to platform for building websites. It’s been a journey of self-driven learning—one project at a time. From small business sites to more complex platforms, I’ve built a wide range of websites using WordPress, always looking for new and better ways to design, develop, and deliver impactful digital experiences.
