This week we celebrated 10 years of promoting workers’ rights, empowering trade unions, and building constructive social dialogue across our global supply chain through a pioneering collaboration. In 2015, H&M Group, IndustriALL Global Union, the world’s largest trade union federation and IF Metall, a Swedish trade union, signed our Global Framework Agreement. Since then, it has become a cornerstone for strengthening workers’ voices, advancing collective bargaining and supporting safer, fairer working conditions. Marking this milestone, we look ahead with continued commitment to ensuring safe and fair working conditions, proving that long-term collaboration between global companies and trade unions can deliver lasting change. We have been ranked #1 for our public disclosure of climate and energy related actions in Fashion Revolution's latest report, What Fuels Fashion? 2025. “This ranking shows we are moving in the right direction, but it also reminds us that action must go further and faster. No brand can tackle this challenge alone. By working together and sharing more openly, we can lift the entire industry and drive meaningful change”, comments Leyla Ertur Genç, Chief Sustainability Officer, H&M Group. The report rated 200 fashion brands, measuring what information they share publicly in five categories – accountability, decarbonization, energy procurement, financing decarbonization and just transparency and advocacy. H&M Group scored a total of 71%. Read the full report: https://lnkd.in/dT_UXxCM #HMGroup

Brooklyn’s Greenpoint Terminal became the stage for COS at New York Fashion Week, marking the brand’s fourth consecutive September on the schedule. Darkness and light, strength and softness, striking yet subtle. The runway came to life through unexplored dimensions in dichotomy, celebrating the beauty in contradiction through collection and space. An experience grounded in the uncompromising craft, construction and rigorous attention to detail synonymous with COS. It proved a quiet statement can be the most powerful. We are proud to share that one of our strategic suppliers, Seduno Group Co.Ltd, has signed collective bargaining agreements for its 3 factories in Cambodia, all brand-backed by H&M Group. These agreements will increase wages and improve conditions such as additional leave days and parental leave for more than 4,000 workers in our supply chain in the country – that is about one third of all workers in our suppliers’ factories. As Jerry Wu, Chairman of Seduno Group, says, “With collective bargaining agreements signed in our factories, we are turning words into concrete actions. These agreements are a prime example of how social dialogue can lead to practical progress ensuring workers’ interests and keep our business competitive.” The milestone has also been recognised by the OECD Social and International Labour Organization led initaitive GlobalDeal in a case study. This recognition makes us proud and confirms our conviction that putting workers at the centre of our supply chain is the right path forward. & Other Stories reveals a new brand spirit under the creative direction of newly appointed Chief Creative Officer, Jonathan Saunders. The transformation is reflected in a new logo and tone of voice, combined with a fresh approach to design and styling — debuting with the first chapter of the Fall 2025 collection. “The Fall campaign celebrates real clothes for everyday experiences, designed to inspire individuality. The new brand identity combines nostalgia with modernity and signifies an exciting new chapter for & Other Stories”, said Saunders. Photographed by Oliver Hadlee Pearch, the Fall 2025 collection celebrates modern nostalgia — where elevated everyday pieces are reimagined with inspiration from the 60s, 70s and 90s, updated for today. Our work to reduce emissions has been highlighted by Apparel Impact Institute and NewClimate Institute — two independent organisations focused on driving transparency and climate progress across the fashion industry. Both reports make it clear that our industry must accelerate efforts to meet our climate goals. But they also recognised our climate targets, our transparency on supply chain energy use, how we are eliminating coal-powered boilers in manufacturing and increasing the share of renewable energy, as well as how we are switching to materials with a lower climate impact, such as recycled. We’re proud of the impact so far — and committed to going further. Image description: garments from COS made with 62% or more organic cotton. #HMGroup #ClimateAction

We have signed a new sourcing agreement with Circulose for a significant amount of their recycled material. This partnership builds on years of collaboration. "We were pioneers back in 2020 when we first brought fashion made from CIRCULOSE® to our customers. Today, we're excited to deepen this partnership”, says Cecilia Strömblad Brännsten, Head of Resource Use & Circularity at H&M Group. Recycled materials made from textile waste play a key role in reducing reliance on virgin fibres. But one brand can’t shift the system alone. By growing demand for materials like CIRCULOSE®, we can help move the industry forward. Read the press release https://lnkd.in/exnMzG5m #HMGroup #Circulose #RecycledMaterials Images show how CIRCULOSE® is made. Used textiles are shredded, pulped and pressed into sheets that look like cardboard. Fibre producers then turn these sheets into yarn, which is woven into new materials.
