This is absolutely not necessary unless your R installation or your PATH is broken. Fix that instead of creating hacky workarounds, since it will have other negative consequences.

I think we need to have the equality sign after R, i.e. alias R='/Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Versions/4.0/Resources/bin/R'.
