Resolved -
On October 2, we experienced a service disruption affecting Claude.ai, Claude Code, and the Claude API and Console. The disruption began at approximately 6:17 PM PT and was fully resolved by 8:47 PM PT, with all systems confirmed stable by 10:16 PM PT. The incident was triggered by an upstream provider error that exposed an unexpected issue in our infrastructure that affected both availability and recovery times.
During this time, you may have experienced intermittent access issues or increased error rates and latency across our platform. We have taken immediate actions to mitigate the issue.
All systems are now operating normally. We apologize for any inconvenience this disruption may have caused.
