You can use price tracking on your phone, tablet, or computer to check for price drops on products that you want to buy.
To use the price tracking, insights features, and receive notifications, you must:
- Live in Australia, Canada, India, Japan, or the US.
- Sign in to Chrome with your Google Account.
- Sync your history.
- Turn on "Make searches and browsing better."
Get price and shopping insights
You can use Shopping Insights in Chrome to find the price history and price range for products on the web. This includes products with alternatives, like different colors or storage capacity.
Find the price history for a product- On your Android device, open Chrome

- Go to the page of the product.
- In the address bar, on the right, tap Price is low

- Optional: To track the product, tap Track.
Tips:
- You can track products even if notifications are off.
- To stop tracking the product, tap Tracking.

Important: To use this feature the first time, when the pop-up appears, tap Show me.
- On your Android device, open Chrome

- At the top right, tap More

Find your tracked products- On your Android device, open Chrome
- At the top right, tap More

- Tap Get price tracking notifications.
- To change mobile price notifications: Under “Mobile,” tap Settings. Turn your mobile Price drop alerts on or off.
- To change email notifications for price changes: Under “Email,” turn Send to on or off.
Check for price drops on open tabs
- On your Android device, open Chrome
- Tap Switch tabs

- On the tab for the product you like, check for a badge. If Chrome detects a price drop, it shows a badge at the top left of the tab.
- On your Android device, open Chrome
- At the top right, tap More
- Turn Track prices on tabs on or off.
Find a Discount badge
Important: This feature is only available for users in the US.
A discount badge automatically shows on a product page with eligible discounts.
- On your Android device, open Chrome
- Go to the page of the product you're interested in.
- If a discount is available, next to the address bar, tap Discount
- Use the discount code at checkout by the valid date.
- If no expiration date is provided, the discount code is only valid for 24 hours.
