Apoorv Bhargava is CEO and Co-Founder of WeaveGrid, a grid orchestration software platform helping utilities integrate distributed energy resources (DERs) to improve grid reliability, affordability, and emissions. WeaveGrid’s DISCO platform is deployed across 27 states, partnering with OEMs and DER manufacturers – including Tesla, Toyota, SolarEdge, and Rivian – to unlock savings for their customers through smart grid optimization. Since founding WeaveGrid, Apoorv has grown the company to nearly 75 employees and secured venture backing from top-tier investors, driving rapid decarbonization at the intersection of energy and transportation. He has spent his entire career in energy and climate, with prior roles at Opower, NRG Energy, Capricorn Investment Group, and BCG. Apoorv holds an MBA and MS in Energy & Resources from Stanford, and a BS in Chemical Engineering and BA in Energy Economics from Rice University. He was named to the Forbes and GreenBiz 30 Under 30 lists.
