Ben Lamm
CEO and Founder, Colossal Biosciences
Ben Lamm is the co-founder and CEO of Colossal Biosciences, the world’s first de-extinction company. He is a serial technology entrepreneur driven to solve some of the most complex challenges facing our planet. For more than two decades, Ben has built disruptive businesses focused on future-proofing industries through advances in artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, conservation, and space innovation.
Prior to Colossal, Ben founded and led several pioneering technology companies, including Hypergiant, an enterprise AI software company focused on critical infrastructure, space, and defense that was acquired by Trive Capital; Conversable, the leading conversational intelligence platform that helped brands engage customers through automated experiences and was acquired by LivePerson; and Chaotic Moon, a global creative technology company acquired by Accenture. He was also the co-founder of Team Chaos, a consumer gaming company acquired by Zynga.
In addition to leading and growing his own companies, Ben is deeply passionate about emerging technology, science, space exploration, biodiversity, and climate resilience. He currently serves on the board of directors of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF), the congressionally chartered nonprofit dedicated to conserving and restoring fish, wildlife, plants, and habitats across the United States through public-private partnerships and conservation grantmaking.
Ben is also a Fellow and serves on the Board of Trustees of The Explorers Club, whose mission is to promote the scientific exploration of land, sea, air, and space by supporting research and education in the physical, natural, and biological sciences.
