Dr. Brian Cameron is the Interim Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) at The Aerospace Corporation. In this role, Cameron leads a dynamic, nationwide team responsible for executing OCTO’s three-part mission: developing, implementing, and managing corporate technical and strategic investments; maturing innovative technologies and prototyping advanced concepts; and driving technology transition to government and commercial partners. Cameron leads four offices within OCTO: eLab, responsible for setting the technical investment strategy and priorities; xLab, responsible for developing, building, and operating prototypes; Solution Accelerator, responsible for delivering independent and innovative solutions with speed and national impact; and the Office of Tech Transfer, dedicated to driving the transition of technology to external stakeholders and bridging innovation with real-world application. He also manages the company’s $60 million-plus internal research and development program and the Aerospace Technical Fellows program, with the company’s top engineers and scientists.
