Caleb Appleton

Caleb Appleton is a Partner at Bison Ventures, where he invests in Physical AI. A biomedical engineer by training, Caleb’s career spans early science work in the field of engineered gene and cell therapies, frontier tech investing and most recently operating a scaled technology business. His investments at Bison include techbio, robotics, and real world intelligence companies – including Cobot, Vivodyne, Passkey, Sleuth, Inner Logic, Cosmon, and Grid Aero. Prior, Caleb was an investor at Innovation Endeavors, where he focused on frontier technology investments across surgical robotics ($RBOT), drug discovery (Eikon Therapeutics, Dewpoint Therapeutics), next generation hardware (Skylo), and applied AI (Cosmos Innovation, Citrine Informatics). Caleb also spent several years as an SVP and GM at TuneIn, a prior portfolio company, leading their global subscription product. Caleb began his career at Bain & Company. Caleb has a B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Tech and currently serves on the External Advisory Board of the same department.
