Tushar Kumar

Tushar and Vishal Kumar are twin brothers and cofounders of Twin Peaks Wealth Advisors in San Francisco, CA. Beginning their careers at Northwestern Mutual in 2009, they became one of the top investment advisor teams at the firm in just a few years. As Bay Area natives and after working in San Francisco for several years, the brothers identified an underserved market among technology professionals navigating complex equity compensation and company exit strategies. In 2015, the brothers founded Twin Peaks Wealth Advisors (TPWA) with these unique clients and their specialized needs in mind. A team that started as just a pair of brothers, is now a team of 13 which includes 7 private wealth advisors. The expanded team gives our clients the luxury of working with a multi-advisor team and has also allowed TPWA to expand its expertise. The firm currently manages financial planning and investments for over 400 clients nationwide with around $750M AUM (as of 7/15/26).
