Fun aside, AD admins had smart card logon enforcement decades before Entra, and with 3rd party (e.g. Crowdstrike IDP, Silverfort) get conditional access MFA per SPN / Service for nearly a decade now. It's not how old the platform is, it's how well you know to secure it.
