  • At the senior level, career transitions are complex and highly confidential. Executive moves rely on discretion, networks, and trusted advisors with a deep understanding of organizational strategy, things AI simply doesn’t have access to. Still, AI is disrupting every aspect of life, and executive search is no exception. But can it really advise leaders on their next move, when so many of these decisions happen behind closed doors? More importantly, would senior leaders trust AI to identify their next career opportunity? We’d love your perspective. Vote in the poll below and share your thoughts in the comments.

  • Who doesn't like to wear a hard hat and a high-vis jacket? Certainly not us! To the contrary! Using Adam Nuzie's words, "Visiting manufacturing sites provides us with valuable insights into culture, location, and talent challenges. Meetings at trade shows and expos create opportunities for meaningful exchanges. Quarterly calls with placed candidates support their onboarding and development, while also informing annual insights reports that help clients retain high-impact talent. Our sector heads and client partners also stay closely aligned with DEI targets, reporting, and succession plans, acting as true brand ambassadors to ensure every search advances the broader strategy." We value our client partnerships and will go to great lengths to help them secure high-impact and diverse talent that transforms their business and ensures their future success. Get in touch with us today to discuss your talent challenges in full confidence!

When speaking with our clients, I hear one piece of feedback time and again: “Your visit to our production facility was a game changer.” I agree wholeheartedly. Except for the COVID pandemic, we have always made a concerted effort to go beyond appointment briefs and meet with clients and hiring managers face-to-face (three key client visits in the past couple of weeks alone, with more to come!). The only downside is occasional travel delay, just like the one caused by a blackout in Dallas, TX, last Friday. Not fun. Why? Because lasting partnerships aren’t built on transactions. They are built on trust, understanding, and alignment. Many of our strongest client relationships began as candidate relationships. During their own executive search, they experienced firsthand how we represented them and their employer brand. That trust became the foundation for a longer partnership. Visiting manufacturing sites provides us with valuable insights into culture, location, and talent challenges. Meetings at trade shows and expos create opportunities for meaningful exchanges. Quarterly calls with placed candidates support their onboarding and development, while also informing annual insights reports that help clients retain high-impact talent. Our sector heads and client partners also stay closely aligned with DEI targets, reporting, and succession plans, acting as true brand ambassadors to ensure every search advances the broader strategy. With culture mismatch the number one reason executives leave, we make alignment our top priority. That is why our leadership team maintains personal connections with key client contacts and active search participants to ensure that value, trust, and long-term success are never left to chance. If you are thinking about the long-term success of your organization and want to bring in high-impact talent, I would welcome a conversation. • At Pacific International Executive Search, we believe that people are at the heart of every success story. And after 14 years with the business, few embody that more than Adam Nuzie, our Chief Commercial Officer. Adam’s journey with Pacific began when he joined as the company’s very first US hire. What started as a leap into the unknown has grown into a career defined by resilience, leadership, and a relentless drive to deliver for clients and candidates alike. Along the way, Adam has not only helped build and expand Pacific’s US operations but also shaped a culture rooted in trust, empathy, and long-term partnerships. To mark this milestone, Margaret Jaouadi sat down with Adam Nuzie to reflect on his path so far, the lessons learned from both challenges and triumphs, and what continues to motivate him every day. Adam’s story is a reminder that careers aren’t always linear, leadership is a journey of constant growth, and culture is built by people who care. Fourteen years on, his impact on Pacific International and the people around him speaks volumes. Here’s to celebrating what’s achieved and to the exciting years still ahead! • The #packaging industry is undergoing a critical transformation where sustainability is no longer a trend, but an expectation. Circular economy models, EU regulations, AI, and e-commerce are reshaping the sector at speed. High-impact talent will be essential in overcoming the industry’s next set of challenges. FACHPACK, Europe’s leading trade fair for packaging, technology, and processing, kicks off next week and stands at the center of these conversations. Pacific International Executive Search’s Packaging Industry Sector Lead, Rafael Alvarado Fernandez, will be on-site to explore how companies are tackling these challenges, uncover emerging trends and material innovations, and connect with both current and prospective clients. In-person meetings like these are invaluable, strengthening long-term partnerships built over years in this critical sector while also opening the door to new collaborations. If your company is navigating talent acquisition issues, striving for greater leadership diversity, or if you’re a senior-level professional considering your next career move, meet Rafael Alvarado Fernandez at #FACHPACK2025 or connect with him directly to arrange a confidential, no-obligation discussion. #TrustedAdvisor #ExecutiveSearch #StrategicTalent

  • When you dedicate 23 years to doing something you love, you see a lot of change along the way. Right now, the impact of AI and the pace at which it is reshaping our world, creating new opportunities while adding to global and economic uncertainty, gives us all a moment to pause and think about the future. For our CEO, David Howells, his work anniversary was a chance to reflect on where the executive search industry is headed, how Pacific International Executive Search can keep bringing real value to our clients, and how we can continue to be a place where our people grow and thrive. His reflections on change, AI, and what comes next are well worth a read. https://lnkd.in/d_X3kNHC Congratulations, David, and thank you for your leadership, energy, and positivity. You inspire us every day. Here’s to many more years together! #WeArePacific #leadership #executivesearch

  • Mergers and acquisitions are exciting avenues for growth, but integrating two companies presents complex challenges, especially when it comes to cultural differences. HR leaders know that a successful integration is not just about aligning processes or hitting financial targets. It is about retaining top talent, preserving institutional knowledge, and ensuring that employees from both organizations feel included, valued, and motivated. Company culture plays a pivotal role in these outcomes. To discuss this complex topic, Margaret Jaouadi spoke with Michelle DeLucia, a seasoned HR professional with broad experience in M&A, currently serving as Global Human Resources Business Partner at Workwave. In this article, Michelle DeLucia shares her insights on navigating the human side of mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Drawing on her experience working with both small and large organizations, she offers practical strategies for managing cultural integration, assessing and retaining talent, empowering employees, and measuring success following an acquisition. HR professionals will find actionable guidance in Michelle DeLucia’s examples from onboarding new teams and deploying culture ambassadors to designing change management plans and fostering collaboration across previously siloed groups. Her candid reflections highlight both the obstacles and opportunities in M&A, offering a valuable roadmap for anyone responsible for guiding people through these complex transitions.
