About us
William Grant & Sons is an independent, family owned premium spirits company. When our founder William Grant established our company in 1887, he had a vision to make the best dram in the valley, and that vision stands true today as we build brands that are loved the world over. These include our eight core brands: Glenfiddich, Grant's, The Balvenie, Tullamore D.E.W., Drambuie, Hendrick's Gin, Sailor Jerry Rum and Monkey Shoulder. We have distilling and bottling operations in Scotland, Ireland, Iceland, India, the US and Mexico and a team of over 2,600 people at 48 global locations. We consistently win the industry’s top accolades, which are testament to the quality of our liquid, our dedication to our craft and the talent of our people. One hundred and thirty four years on, we are leaders in the international spirits industry and have ambitious plans for growth to ensure our business is sustainable for the long term. William Grant was a true pioneer. He worked with a close-knit team of talented and passionate people to create a legacy that endures and their spirit is very much at the heart of our culture today.

Glenfiddich’s now iconic stag logo was introduced 55 years ago in September 1970 and has continued to evolve ever since. In 2008, we introduced the silhouette that is used today, instantly recognisable all over the world. As Glenfiddich continues to push boundaries in whisky innovation, the founding vision remains the same – to make the best dram in the valley. Tullamore D.E.W. has unveiled its latest addition, Tullamore D.E.W. Café Honey. Café Honey celebrates craftsmanship, community, and culture, blending three distinct elements into one harmonious drop – smooth, triple-distilled Irish whiskey, locally roasted coffee from Ireland and a subtle touch of Bohemian honey to sweeten the finish. To capture the essence of Café Honey and Tullamore D.E.W., real Tullamore locals and distillery team members feature at the heart of the campaign visuals, embodying the community spirit that runs through every drop of the whiskey. Café Honey has launched in Czechia & Slovakia, marking the start of its journey. It will launch in Poland later this year, followed by other markets in 2026. Keep an eye out in stores.

The Balvenie has launched the Second Edition of the Fifty collection. Exclusively available at iconic British luxury department store, Harrods, throughout August, and now in select retailers worldwide, only 97 bottles will be available globally, marking one of the rarest and most interesting releases ever from The Balvenie Distillery. The Fifty Collection stands as a tribute to tradition, expertise, and the enduring spirit of The Balvenie. For The Second Edition, Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie expands the profile by marrying the inaugural release - a rare single cask expression drawn exclusively from a European oak refill butt filled in 1973 - with a second: an American oak hogshead, also filled in 1973. The Second Edition of The Balvenie Fifty Collection showcases flavours of molten dates, sweet soft currants and a subtle citrus zest, layered over creamy honey and a buttery finish.

This National Dog Day, we sat down with Kevin and Toby, our two working sniffer dogs. They have a very important role in the Company: ensuring that the wood used to hold and mature our whiskies is of the highest quality. Swipe to discover what makes them bark, break into the zoomies, and roll over for much needed belly rubs.
