Great to join Ronan and Luke on etn. at Slush this week - talking about why AI-enabled rollups are fundamentally different from traditional PE plays. We dug into what we're seeing on the ground across Europe: fragmented service markets ripe for transformation, our portfolio companies rebuilding entire value chains, and why automation metrics matter more than immediate EBITDA optimization. We call this the AI-enabled roll-up. The opportunity is massive. European service industries generate over $4 trillion annually, yet most providers are still drowning in manual workflows. But AI rollups are entirely different. PE relies on leverage and cost-cutting to extract value; AI rollups integrate purpose-built technology to create value.
