There will be so much to see and do at the 2025 edition of IBC. In the lead-up to the show, the pace of product announcements has been nothing short of overwhelming; an avalanche of new launches and upgrades that has us buzzing with excitement.

Here at ProductionHUB, we’ve narrowed down the list to the booths and products that are absolute must-visits. Of course, there will be many more worth exploring, but if you’re short on time, these are the ones you don’t want to miss. Let’s dive in!

At IBC 2025, MRMC will debut two new products: the Cinebot Nano and the RPS-LT (Roaming Pedestal System with robotic arm). Exhibiting alongside Nikon and RED Digital Cinema in Hall 11 (11.C20), MRMC will demo the new RPS-C2 with lift column, plus the latest RPS-LT variant with robotic arm.

Independent filmmakers and studio owners should put this at the very top of their IBC list. The Cinebot Nano in particular promises to be a game-changer for anyone who has dreamed of adding robotic precision to their shots.

Also featured: the RLS (Rail Lift System) paired with the AFC (Agile, Fast and Compact) robotic head and RED V-Raptor (X) camera in Phantom Track Recording Mode. This system will showcase seamless integration into dynamic virtual production workflows powered by Disguise.

RED Digital Cinema

Since its partnership with Nikon, RED has continued to push boundaries, and this year at IBC they’re raising the bar again.

  • Cine-Broadcast Module with Advanced Color Pipeline and EVS Integration: Supporting up to two channels of 4K 60P live broadcasting via 12G-SDI and IP (SMPTE ST 2110), plus 8K 120FPS R3D streaming via RED Connect. Expect advanced slow motion, AI/ML enhancements, and real-time multi-camera color matching for live environments.

  • EVS Workflow Integration: For the first time, RED’s Cine-Broadcast Module will integrate with EVS’ XT-VIA® live production server, delivering enhanced workflows with up to 4x super slow motion at 4K and 8x at 1080p.

  • RED Cameras with Nikon Z Mount: Another IBC first! Attendees can see the RED V-RAPTOR [X] with 8K VV global shutter sensor and the compact KOMODO-X with 6K S35 global shutter sensor—both with Nikon’s versatile Z Mount.
