The Authority's Modelling and Forecasting workstream provides historical and forecast information to the Authority, the wider industry and other interested parties.

In this section you will find:

• Demand forecasting - forecasts of future electricity demand at national, regional, and grid exit point levels;
• Long-term generation development - including information on demand side technologies that might influence generation development;
• In-house models - including the Generation Expansion Model (GEM);
• The Centralised Dataset - containing historical metering, market related, hydrological, and network related data; and
• Analysis of wind generation.
