On Wednesday 30/10/2013 Dr. Nouri Balrwin Chairman of NOC met a delegation from the Brazilian company Petrobras headed by Mr. Samuel Miranda Regional Director for North Africa and Middle East in the presence of Mr. Charles Ibrona Regional Director for Asia and Europe, Mr. Jose Fernando Vartaz new Director of Petrobras Libya branch , Mr. Iran Garcia da Costa former director of the company in Libya and Ms. Amal Dridi Deputy Director of Libya branch, the meeting was attended by Mr. Abolgasem Shanger member of NOC management committee and Mr.Basher Greaa manager of exploration department

Chairman of NOC meets United States Ambassador

On Monday 28/10/2013 Chairman of NOC Dr. Nouri Balrwin met U.S. Ambassador in Libya H.E Ms. Deborah K. Jones, and Mr. Josh Gold Berg trade and economic ancillary at the embassy in the presence of Mr. Mustafa Sanalla member of NOC management committee

The two parties discussed the activity of the American oil and gas companies in Libya, in this regard Dr. Balrwin stressed that Libya is one of the most promising countries in this field and has plans to develop refineries and to establish a number of petrochemical plants
