Africa: Sisi Announces New Agency for Africa's Development

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi announced the establishment of an Egyptian partnership agency for Africa's development on Thursday.

Addressing the opening session of the 23rd ordinary African Union summit here, Sisi said the agency, to come into force on July 1, will qualify African cadres and support new initiatives on development projects in Africa.

Egypt set up this agency as it did before when it established the Egyptian Fund for Technical Cooperation with Africa, he said.
