Label and color notes

To help sort and find your notes in Keep quickly, you can give notes labels and colors. Labelling and coloring notes only affects what you see, not how others see a shared note. You can have up to 50 labels.

  2. Select the note you want to label.
  3. Click More More.
  4. Click Add label or Change labels.
  5. In "Label note:"

    • To create new labels, enter them in "Enter label name" and click Create Add.

Each label appears below the note text as a tag. You can tap a label tag to add or remove labels.

Tip: You can also pick labels to apply in your note's text by typing a hashtag #.
