People (including me) often complain about customer service on this website. Here's the opposite: I called to cancel internet and TV. A human being answered on the FIRST RING and was extremely helpful. Thank you, AT&T!

If they hired more from Apple you'd also be buying a dongle to make it compatible with last year's taxes.

Great point on the move to istiod (from Pilot and Citadel) in . What looked like a major architecture change was really an implementation detail... didn't affect many users because of API consistency.

Urs is a leader at Google. Our leaders have faced this problem head on since early in the problem. I wish that our federal leaders had the foresight and wisdom that many corporate leaders have shown.

Deleting some old GCP projects, happy about my name choices. So long, guaranteed-success, racecondition2, taco-taco-taco, silly-silly-silly, project-names-are-dumb, brand-new-heavy, and delete-me-delete-me. You're about to cross the binary bridge.

I'm not sure who needs to read this - If you're a tech leader spending lots of time on building morale, spreading cheer, and listening, you're absolutely, 100%, doing your job! Right now kindness is 1000x more valuable than lines of code (it always is, but especially rn)

This is a great thread on how Microsoft is dealing with this crisis. Our businesses in tech have been WAY ahead of our governments.
