1.
Frame Ground Terminal.
2. 110V AC Line Terminal.
3. Motor Connecting Terminal.
4. Over-Heat Signal Output Terminal.
5. Step 0 Signal Output Terminal.
6. " Holding Current Off " Signal Iutput Terminal.
7. Counter Clock-Wise Pulse Signal Input Terminal.
@a. In 2P Mode, this is the Counter-Clock-Wise Pulse Signal Input
@@ Terminal.
@b. In 1P Mode, it is Direction Command Signal Input Terminal.
8. Clock-Wise Pulse Signal Input Terminal.
9. DIP Switch Selectors,
@a. ACD, Auto-Current Down Function.
@@ACD automatically reduces the motor current anytime the motor is
@@not moving, this lowers motor heating. This feature can be disabled
@@if desired so that full current and torque isa maintained at all
times.
@b. AOH, Auto-Over-Heat Protection.
@@AOH shuts down the driver if the heat sink of the driver reaches
@@ 80 J and the Over-Heat LED turns on.
@c. 1P / 2P Mode Selector.
@@*In 1P Mode, the pulse command signal is connected to CW
@@ terminal and the motor rotating direction is controlled by
@@ directionsignal connected to CCW terminal.
@@* In 2P Mode, the CW and CCW pulse signals are connected separately
to CW and CCW, and the direction is determined by the only
@@ one pulse signal sending to CW or CCW terminal.
@d. Full Step / Half Step Selector. Full Step: 1.8 degree per step;
Half Step: 0.9 degree per step.
@e. SEL1 and SEL2, when ACD is enabled, these two selectors control
ACD current amount.
@@* LARGEST current maintained when SEL1 and SEL2 are both set to
"ON".
@@* To get MIDDLE current, please set only SEL2 to "ON"
and SEL1 to "OFF".
@@* Set SEL1 to "ON" and SEL2 to "OFF" for LOW
current.
@@* Both SEL1 and SEL2 are set to "OFF" to get LOWEST current
.
10. Run Current Selector. This selector controls the amount of phase
driving current. |

- Power indicator, the green LED lights when the input voltage
is OK.
- Over-Heat Protection Indicator, the red LED lights when the
heat sink of the driver exceeds 80 degree C and AOH is enabled.
- Step 0 Indicator, the yellow Led lights once every 4 steps in
full step resolution or once every 8 steps in half step resolution.

- The Pulse Signal takes the Negative Trigger
Technique in order to isolate the noise. It is necessary to keep
in High status, every time the signal status is alternated from
HIGH to LOW will drive the motor to the next step.
- The width of Pulse Signal should be larger than 5gSec.. The
alternating time from HIGH to LOW should be less than 2gSec..
- To prevent burning out the photo-coupler, the Input Signal Voltage
should be from DC 5V to DC 24V. Always keep the Input
Signal Current less than 20 mA, and less than 10 mA for Output
Signal Current,
- Direction Command Signal, in 1P Mode, staying LOW drives the
motor
- Counter-Clock-Wise, and HIGH drives Clock-Wise.

- When connecting and disconnecting the motor,
be sure that the power of driver is off. Never let unused leads
short out to anything.
- Incorrect connection from driver to motor causes damage of driver
and warranty invalid.
- Additional heat sinking or forced air-cooling is necessary to
operate the driver continuously at maximum power.
- Do not use the driver in a space where there is no air flow
or surrounding air to be more than 50 J.
- Never put the driver where it can get wet or where metal particles
can get on it.
