its probably worth a blog post. When I was much younger I worked in embedded systems. Our compiler (pascal for 680x0) was from a company that no longer existed. We had refactor-to-remove-symbols nuff said?

to be fair this is what I have been arguing the model is our current representation of past transactions for a decade no? i find the current model to be transient.

Paraphrased: A database is a cached view of the sum of all transactions. Why work with the cache when you can have the original data -> event sourcing.
