The same reason most Dems are getting behind Biden: Trump is the bigger issue. People are dying because of this corrupt imbecile, and if Bernie won the nomination most centrists I know said they'd hold their noses and vote for him to remove Trump.

That's definitely a fair question. It's not just 2020 either - in 2018, during the blue wave, the "Berniecrats" failed to flip a single red seat. I think you have to show you have the electoral muscle for people to be willing to compromise.

Ive changed my opinion on voting its very important and there is no excuse not to (excluding the current pandemic) however how we do it currently makes it seem completely useless to anyone who doesnt like either party
