Rather than tweeting something ill-advised about anything going on in media, I present you this photo of Theo discovering how baths work.

  2. I saw Victor be punished over and over again for dress code violations while other people committed the same "violations" without consequence. The selective enforcement was egregious and discriminatory, and Victor remains a genius.

The ominous tweets from sports reporters are so corny. Do your job and report it or keep it in your group chat

My cousin Kelly is a teacher in Pasco Country, FL. She's written a letter to her school board and I want to share it here because it's a clear snapshot of the agonizing predicaments this country is thrusting upon educators and school staff. It's long but worth reading thru:

I’m just completely over this idea that “professionalism” means holding your tongue when somebody at your publication, or in your field, says or does something that negatively affects you and people you work with. Where are the “freedom of speech” advocates on this issue?

the biggest media story of the past decade is the way capital crushes newsrooms across the nation, either with specific malice or as a way to extract value from bleeding them dry. a bad editor quitting a stable job because she can't be mean to coworkers doesn't even qualify

I get the longing--I even share it--but the naivete is annoying. Online pundits should know (and factor in) that social media as a "public square" where "good faith debate" happens is a thing of the past. Disagreement here happens through trolling, sea-lioning, ratios, dunks.
