Congrats to "Friends of Better Cupertino" and their legal counsel, who rejected $10 million in community benefits from the developer in 2018, took the L in this case *and* will get their L cited in every SB 35 legal decision in the state of California from this point onwards.

My advice to Better Cupertino would be to try spending money on activities that have a higher rate of return than having their ass handed to them in court, like a seed round for a lead paint startup, or Bernie Madoff's investment fund.
