How do I earn rewards on the Amazon Barclaycard?

Get 1% back in rewards when you shop on Amazon, and 0.5% back everywhere else (0.5% changes to 0.25% after 12 months from the date you open your card account). Amazon Barclaycard Rewards rules. If you're a Prime member, you'll get 2% back when you shop on Amazon during eligible key shopping events, such as Prime Day. Eligible key shopping events will be selected and displayed specifically for the Amazon Barclaycard at our discretion. The increased rewards rate will not apply to all Amazon shopping events.

You'll earn the 'shop on Amazon' rewards rate for purchases made at the following Amazon-supported channels and entities: Amazon Retail, Amazon Marketplace, Amazon Fresh, Amazon Music, Whole Foods, Audible, Kindle, Twitch, Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Luna, Amazon Blink, AWS Training UK, Amazon Bulk Liquidations, and Amazon Trade In UK.

You'll collect Amazon Rewards on new purchases, but not on balance transfers, money transfers and transactions that make up your cash balance. These include cash withdrawals, wire transfers and buying currency. You won't collect rewards for any transactions that are later returned or refunded; or for any transactions made via a third-party card or account such as Curve or PayPal. You also need to keep to the terms and conditions of your account and stay within your credit limit.
