My 9-Month Experience: Beautiful Display
I've been using my Kindle Scribe almost every day for the past nine months, and I genuinely love it. The large screen is fantastic and makes reading a real pleasure. I also really appreciate the sleek design and premium feel, and the battery lasts for many days, which is incredibly convenient. The size, however, makes it less ideal for carrying on the go. As for the pen, I actually hardly use it. I prefer typing my notes directly, so they sync with my other Kindle devices and apps. Overall, it's a great device, especially for reading with that big display.

Good Things.
- I much prefer the bigger screen versus the small kindles. Finally feels like I am reading a book.
- Pen response is very fluid. On par with good graphics tablet.
- Incredibly light.
- I can side load all my pdfs/documents easily.
Not so good things.
- Battery drain is somewhat faster versus the smaller devices.
- Kindle Unlimited is not in my region.
- There is some ghosting on the screen. If you are deleting text or scrolling. It is not permanent though.
- The AI features are on the cloud and slow. I wouldn't feel comfortable pushing to the cloud at all.
- The pen doesn't work on side loaded PDFs. Which is the whole reason I got the device for.
One major annoyance!
After leaving the device for sometime while still in a book I am reading, instead of returning to where I am left off it shows me a store page book. Basically an advert.
I thought I was doing this by accident, but it is the device doing it. I see no way to switch it off.
For the price and had I known the issues I likely would not have purchased this.
