Find a Missing Package that Shows as Delivered
Having issues with an Amazon order marked as delivered? This guide covers steps to track a missing package, including contacting the carrier.
If your order consisted multiple items and only few were delivered to you, it's possible that the other items in your order were dispatched in another shipment. To confirm, check
To track items in another shipment, check the status using Track package for that order in Your Orders.
If your order consisted of single item that is not delivered:
- Verify the shipping address in Your Orders.
- Look for a notice of attempted delivery.
- Look around the delivery location for your package. The carrier could have left your package in a safe place such as the porch, mail room or reception.
- See if someone else at your address accepted the delivery.
- Wait for 48 hours. In rare cases, packages may say delivered up to 48 hours before arrival.
Contact the carrier
Ask the relevant carrier if there is more information about the location of the package. See
The carrier might have more information about the location of your order, or even a photo of where it has been left. You can view a photo of where it has been left by going to Your Orders on Amazon.com.au and selecting Track Package.
Make sure you have your tracking number or delivery confirmation number handy. On Your Orders page, click Track Package for the order and the tracking ID is listed at the bottom.
