Kindle edition is unusable by learners (pic)
It's not just cosmetic formatting that has been ruined in the Kindle edition. As the picture shows, examples that should be set off in lists are merged with the surrounding text. An instructor can work around them but a novice learner, such as an ESL learner, would be left quite befuddled. Together with the cosmetic errors such as broken lines, the frequency is extremely high. No wonder they're selling it for $0.99 atm. If I weren't in a distant country I would surely return the Kindle edition and get the paper edition instead. (Five stars for the paperback content since the average rating is consolidated across all editions.)
