By participating in the Amazon.com (“Amazon Site”) Shop with Points program (“SWP”) using Bank of America rewards points or cash rewards (“Bank of America Rewards”), you agree to these terms and conditions, the Amazon.com Conditions of Use and your eligible Bank of America credit card’s program rules. Please review them carefully, together with the Amazon.com Privacy Notice, to understand Amazon.com’s practices and the rules applicable to your Bank of America Rewards account.
To use your Bank of America Rewards towards eligible purchases at Amazon.com, your eligible Bank of America credit card account must be linked to your Amazon Site account through the SWP self-enrollment process. Following self-enrollment, you will receive an email from Amazon confirming your registration and instructions for how to un-enroll.
Amazon and Bank of America reserve the right to restrict your use of SWP or to un-enroll your Bank of America Rewards account by de-linking it from your Amazon Site account at any time in Amazon or Bank of America’s sole discretion, including when misuse or fraud is suspected.
You agree that Amazon.com Services LLC and its affiliates (collectively, “Amazon”) may share with Bank of America, its affiliates and/or service providers (collectively, “Bank of America”) certain information that you have provided or will provide to Amazon, in each case for the limited purposes of validating your eligibility to participate in SWP, linking your Amazon Site account to your Bank of America Rewards account, and/or, once enrolled, facilitating your participation in SWP through redemption of your Bank of America Rewards, including processing payments for purchases on the Amazon Site made with Bank of America Rewards. You further agree that Bank of America may share with Amazon certain information that you have provided or will provide to Bank of America and/or information regarding your Bank of America Rewards balance, in each case for the limited purposes of validating your eligibility to participate in SWP and processing any purchases you choose to make by redeeming your Bank of America Rewards. Neither Amazon nor Bank of America will use information provided to it by the other party in support of SWP for any purpose other than as expressly set forth in this paragraph.
In the event your eligible Bank of America credit card is linked to an Amazon.com account that is not your own, or you allow others to access your Amazon.com account where you have linked an eligible Bank of America credit card, your Bank of America Rewards balance will be displayed, and your rewards will be available for their use.
Certain products listed on the Amazon Site are not eligible for purchase using Bank of America Rewards, and these items may change at any time. For a list of ineligible products, please see the Shop with Points help page. Following enrollment in SWP, during the checkout process for purchases of eligible items on the Amazon Site, you will be presented with the number of your available Bank of America Rewards and the total value of such rewards that you can apply towards the total cost (including taxes and shipping, as applicable) of the items being purchased. The redemption value of Bank of America Rewards through SWP is subject to change from time to time at the discretion of Bank of America, subject to the terms and conditions of your Bank of America Rewards account and applicable law.
Your available Bank of America Rewards may be used to pay for all or a portion of your eligible purchases on the Amazon Site. If you pay for only a portion of an eligible purchase using Bank of America Rewards, then the balance must be paid using the same Bank of America credit card account. Bank of America will deduct any rewards you redeem from your rewards balance at the time the order is placed.
There is no fee to redeem your Bank of America Rewards on the Amazon Site. Bank of America Rewards may not be combined with points from other rewards programs to make purchases using SWP.
Purchases made with Bank of America Rewards are subject to Amazon’s return policy, which can be found at Amazon.com. If any of the products related to your original order are returned, subject to Amazon’s returns policy, you will receive a refund of the amount charged to your card first, followed by Bank of America Rewards. If a refund of your Bank of America Rewards cannot be processed by Bank of America for reasons including but not limited to (a) closure of your credit card account, (b) conversion of your rewards account to a non-rewards account, Amazon will issue an Amazon Gift Card to you for an amount equal to the value of the Bank of America rewards used towards your purchase.
