In order to redeem your ThankYou Points towards eligible purchases at Amazon.com, you must have an eligible Citi credit card account issued in the United States (the “Card Account”) that participates in the Citi ThankYou Rewards program.
In addition, you must either be auto-enrolled or complete the self-registration process, as further explained below. After you are enrolled, Citi will provide Amazon with information about your ThankYou Account.
When you Shop with Points at Amazon.com, in addition to the foregoing, you also agree to the following terms and conditions:
-Auto-enrollment. Unless you opted out of receiving marketing emails from Amazon, your Card Account will be automatically enrolled in Shop with Points at Amazon.com if either: (a) you currently have a Card Account stored in your Amazon.com account and have previously used that Card Account to make a purchase at Amazon.com; or (b) you add a Card Account to your Amazon.com account and use it to make a purchase at Amazon.com. If you opted out of receiving marketing emails from Amazon, you may enroll by completing the self-registration process described below. If you are automatically enrolled, your ThankYou Account will be linked to your Amazon.com account using the Card Account in your Amazon.com account. In the event you are eligible for auto-enrollment, you will receive an email from Amazon informing you of the auto-enrollment and how to un-enroll if you do not want to participate.
-Self-registration. As an alternative to the auto-enrollment process described above, Card Accounts may be enrolled in Shop with Points through the self-registration process at Amazon.com, including at amazon.com/citi. You may want to self-register if, for example, you would like to participate in Shop with Points before you are auto-enrolled or if you have un-enrolled and later decide you would like to redeem your points at Amazon.com. During the self-registration process, your ThankYou Account will be linked to your Amazon.com account using the Card Account you selected. Following self-registration, you will receive an email from Amazon confirming your registration and explaining how to un-enroll.
Citi will deduct from your ThankYou Account balance the number of points you redeem for your purchase. There is no fee to redeem points at Amazon.com. Citi has the right to change point to dollar conversion rates at any time. Purchases made with points are subject to Amazon’s return policy, which can be found at Amazon.com. If any of the products related to your original order are returned, subject to Amazon’s refund policy, you will receive a refund of the amount charged to your card first, followed by a refund of your ThankYou Points. If a refund of your ThankYou Points cannot be processed by Citi, Amazon will issue you an Amazon gift card in an amount equal to the value of the Citi ThankYou Points redeemed towards your purchase. Citi or Amazon may set minimum point redemption requirements. If a redemption requirement applies, it will be disclosed to you at the time of redemption.
Authorized users may redeem your points for purchases at Amazon.com upon auto-enrollment or self-registration if their Card Account number is the same as yours.
Certain items at Amazon.com are not available to be purchased using points and these items may change at any time. Additionally, you may not redeem points while making purchases with 1-Click.
