    This may be completely my fault for not paying attention, but this is the first time I have had this treat made with oil instead of ghee, and it was not on par with the flavor profile of the standard ghee soan papdi. The texture is still good and as expected, so if they have a version made with ghee I would anticipate it to be good, but perhaps not great. It's the layers of cardamom that I am used to as well as the umami flavor of the ghee.
