Alexa Communication Usage Guidelines

Thank you for using Alexa Communication. These usage guidelines (“Guidelines”) are designed to help you understand the rules you must follow when using Alexa Communication features, and to help protect you and all of our customers from fraud and abuse. When you use Alexa Communication, you agree to comply with these Guidelines, the Alexa Terms of Use (including the Alexa Communication Schedule), the Amazon.in Privacy Notice, the Amazon.in Conditions of Use, and the other applicable rules, policies, and terms posted on Amazon.in website, available through your Alexa App, or provided with your Alexa Enabled Products.
Capitalized terms used but not defined under these Guidelines shall have the meaning ascribed to them under the Alexa Terms of Use.
CODE OF CONDUCT
You may not use Alexa Communication to:
- Infringe the rights of others by, for example, sharing copyrighted material without authorization or sharing personal and confidential information of any person (including, but not limited to credit card numbers, account passwords, and financial information);
- Impersonate another person or otherwise misrepresent yourself or the source of any call or message;
- Provide inaccurate or incomplete information when registering for Alexa Communication, such as by providing a false mobile phone number;
- Create accounts through automated means, or for false or fraudulent purposes;
- Call or message any person or use Alexa Interactions for the purpose of generating income for yourself or others;
- Send or facilitate the transmission of bulk or unwanted messages, solicitations, spam, or SPIM;
- Engage in calls or messages that have the effect of abusing or degrading the performance of Alexa Communication, including large volumes of calls or messages, excessive connection times etc.;
- Originate messages or calls using automated or robotic means;
- Data mine phone numbers or other information; or
- Violate any applicable law, these Guidelines or applicable Amazon rules, policies, and terms.
VIOLATIONS AND ENFORCEMENT
If we identify an actual or potential violation of these Guidelines, or of any applicable Amazon rules, policies, and/or terms, we reserve the right to review and take action, including, but not limited to, refusing service or terminating your account and/or access to Alexa Communication.
