I love the Pixel Watch 5, but the Health Guardian update has made the Fitbit Air an unbeatable buy

Andy Boxall — Wed, 30 Sep 2026 10:56:39 GMT

I’ve worn the Fitbit Air for almost four months, and it has transformed the way I track my exercise. Now, it has received the Google’s Health Guardian feature in an update, and become even more valuable.

This Pixel Watch setting is the fatal battery error I was making

Rita El Khoury — Wed, 30 Sep 2026 10:30:10 GMT

Managing my Pixel phone and watch's battery lives is one of the most important problems I've been trying to solve for years now. Pixel phones always have battery life issues, and while the Pixel Watch is better than some of its competitors, its battery isn't stellar either.

I tested the Pixel Watch double-pinch for a week and now I'm addicted to it

When the Pixel Watch 5 launched, Google was pretty proud to mention its expanded and improved hand gestures. Supposedly, more screens and more options on the watch were now controllable through the double-pinch and twist-to-dismiss mechanisms.

The Pixel Watch 4 just got some huge upgrades and it's now even cheaper to pick up

Timi Cantisano — Fri, 25 Sep 2026 14:08:04 GMT

The Pixel Watch keeps getting better with time. While many will jump straight to the latest model, I think that the Pixel Watch 4 is the sweet spot for most people. It's nearly identical to the Pixel Watch 5, but at a much lower price. Right now, you can score the 41mm model for just $230, which is $120 off its original price. You can also save $120 on the 45mm model, bringing it down to $280. However, you won't find this promotion at Best Buy or Amazon, so you'll need to head to the Google Store website to grab this deal.

Timi Cantisano — Thu, 24 Sep 2026 18:19:38 GMT

Google hasn't changed the design of its Pixel Watch since its debut. It's the same subtle yet sophisticated look and is still probably one of the better-looking smartwatches out today. And the software and feature set are right on par with its competitors.

Meta's new Ray-Ban smart glasses are just a PR stunt to dodge the camera backlash

Andy Boxall — Thu, 24 Sep 2026 15:38:40 GMT

Here we are, then. What’s old is new again. Meta and Ray-Ban have announced the Ray-Ban Meta Audio, which are smart glasses without a camera or a display, leaving the built-in speakers to convince you to buy them.

Ditch your smartwatch for this Casio classic that's just $18

Timi Cantisano — Thu, 24 Sep 2026 14:23:17 GMT

You can't go wrong with a Casio. The brand has been around for decades and has stayed relevant despite the landscape changing several times. This is partly because Casio watches are still quite affordable, with many options under $50.
