See AllThis Pixel Watch setting is the fatal battery error I was making
I'll go even further. I wish Google would make a Fitbit with a small watch face, you know, JUST a Fitbit. I don't want notifications from my phone apps, the ability to take phone calls, mapping stuff all on my wrist... that's WHY I carry my $1200 Galaxy S24 Ultra (will be replaced with an S27 Ultra next year). I'll go out on a limb and say I almost hate my Pixel 4. It's giant, it has terrible battery life, and it does a lot of stuff I don't want. (I'm a petite woman with tiny wrists; I always have to buy an aftermarket smaller-size band).
Wake up, Google! I've got a Hume Band 2.0 on my other wrist, and right now, with no face at all, it's winning me over with its great reporting detail and 5 to 6-day battery life - oh, and the band fit right out of the box and isn't sticky plastic!
I barely want a dumb watch... I want a FITBIT ULTRA, just like 2011. I deeply resent buying multiples of and then carrying a half-dozen specialty chargers on every trip. If Hume 2.0 adds counting stair flights, the deal will be done. Pretty sad considering I was a launch customer for T-mo G1 and have been loyal to the whole ecosystem since 2008 (Android) and 2010 (Fitbit).
After trying the new Pixel Watch 5, I can't wait to ditch my Watch 4
I have a PW4 and honestly, every day it makes me miss my Fitbit. It loses sync with my Galaxy S24 Ultra way too often. It requires charging way too often, three times as often as my Fitbit. It changes the setting to answer calls there randomly - I NEVER want to do that. And I hate the Google Health app with its gabby coach and miss the Fitbit app every day.
I am considering switching to another health platform altogether, which is quite painful since I've been Google since Gmail 4/2004, Android since launch day 10/2008, and Fitbit since 12/2010. I don't WANT to leave the ecosystem, and will never buy Apple, but I HATE what Google has done to Fitbit with the power of a thousand suns.
7 reasons I won't upgrade my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra to an S25 Ultra
I use air actions everyday. I was an original Note customer and my S23U 512 is going to stick with me for another year. I don't care about battery life most of the time but killl my S-pen and you have bricked the device.
7 reasons I won't upgrade my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra to an S25 Ultra
I bought a stupidly over priced one from my carrier with a lifetime warranty and I make them replace it a couple of times a year for free.

Exactly the same for me. I waffled until I learned that they nerfed the S-pen. That's a deal breaker for me.
5 Samsung Galaxy S25 takeaways from my first hour with the phone
I'm an S23 Ultra 512 GB owner and I'm not planning to upgrade. Removing the Bluetooth functionality from the S-pen is the deal-killer for me. I use it a lot and will not pay for a pretty flat update that REMOVES functionality I like. Too bad.
