Why Samsung's side-mounted fingerprint sensor beats every under-display option I've tested
My old Moto Z3 had a fingerprint sensor on the side. It worked everytime, unlike the Pixel 7 that I have now. I definitely prefer a hardware sensor vs. one behind the screen.
I thought I'd never pay $1,000 for a Googlebook, but Google convinced me otherwise
Sorry but that's a ridiculous price.
".....all that remains is actually using one of these to make sure the promise matches the execution." All of this praise and you don't even own one yet? That's like me heaping praises on a new Bugati but never having driven on.
Why the Motorola Signature 27 can't win over Pixel users, even with GrapheneOS
You're not going to convince the Google kool-aid drinkers to try another phone and who don't mind giving Google all of their personal data.. I've got a P7 and am looking forward to trying a Motorola phone again. I can from Motorola phones to the Pixel with high hopes. The Pixel is a mostly functional phone with a lame modem but nothing special. And why is 'timely updates' such a big thing when Google's Pixel updates usually break something with every release?
I reviewed the Fairphone Gen 6+ to see if a repairable phone is worth using for the next 7 years
"I couldn't see myself using it until 2033, regardless of whether it can last that long." Brought to you by the same authors that complain if a phone manufacturer doesn't guarantee 7 years of updates.
Android Auto sold me my car, now carmakers are betting it'll sell you one too
Don't have Android Auto and don't need it. Plus, who wants more things tracking them.
Who needs an outdated device in their car? Same reason I don't like/use smart TVs, as they're slow and get slower over time with no upgrade path w/o buying new.
