This prequel to Alien Covenant was totally unnecessary. Didn't add anything to the overall story. No Aliens appeared at all in the "Alien" novel. would have been more enjoyable as a standalone novel and not connected to the franchise.
The narrator was pretty good.

I really liked most of the alien books. However, no aliens and plot is really slow and boring.

It's a good book. It was interesting to get some insight into Weyland-Yutani, and have Yutani featured as a character, I just didn't get into the book as much as the other audiobook tie-ins to the Alien franchise.

This was the first Alien story I've read without an Alien in it, so it had a hard task in overcoming that, and ultimately never did in my opinion.

Had high hopes for this, as a huge fan of Prometheus and covenant. The timeline covered in this installment is very short, the narration performance was excellent, and really save this read for me. Overall modest three out of five.
