Listened after watching Bridgerton on Netflix and wanted more of Simon and Daphne. Story was different than the show, some characters were not in the original books, and this story focused only on Simon and Daphne. I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to listen to the whole series!

For someone like myself who has not experienced romance or shivalry this is inspiring that it does exist and really opens up your mind on what is possible. This story is full of education when it comes to true profound love and can make one realize some things they did not know where possible. A very enjoyable listen I highly recommend 👌

I have many feelings about this book, and even some notes about specific scenes that particularly bothered me, but I'm honestly just too tired to get into it. Suffice it to say, I enjoyed the plot, but I do not like this author's way of writing. I've tried reading her books before, and while she has a decent sense of humour, and her descriptions can be lovely, I don't like the omniscient POV (I prefer tight third in HR novels), among other things.

Honestly, I look forward to when this comes out on Netflix, because I think that I'll like the way it's portrayed far better on film than how it's written. Not sure if I'll read the others in the series, despite having already bought the next one.

Oh my heaving bosoms and rippling thighs... I have never read one of these romance novels and I have to admit it was - for me - a delightful mix of giggles, groans, and blushing cheeks. Could NOT put it down. Not sure if I would play this aloud in a room, but then, that's the fun of it. The narrator was fantastic: would love to have been a fly on the wall when she read this.

wow just wow… bro ima be honest w y’all being a black man that’s 22 i never not in a million years thought i would be entrapped by a book of this genre. No matter the person whoever reads this book after the first chapter will want to finish the rest of the series in a day. this is my one and only review on this app and i think it was well worth it.
