I laughed listening to this several times, Lori Prince really brings a book to life and the author makes the characters loveable. I loved it.

Very slow burn, but very lovely to see their relationship grow and change, and character growth too.

Anna is coming out of an unhappy mariage where she was cheated on repeatedly, and needs a lawyer to go about her divorce. Caroline is the best divorce lawyer in town, and accepts to work on Anna's case. From there, they form a friendship and their lives becomes intertwined.

Very little spice, here and there. It's more centered around their feelings and the relationship, without going physical.

I have too much to say and don't want to spoil anything... so short version. Characters seemed real, narration is great, and I was wiping away tears at the end.

I loved this book! The plot is really good. It took me a while to warm up to the writing style but I’m in love. My one complaint is that there wasn’t enough involvement from other characters. The three main characters take all of the story, and side characters barely get any dialogue. There aren’t enough friends, family, and other people on the sides to give support, and very few side characters actually make a difference or add something to the story. They’re just, there. I noticed this more and more as I got deeper into the book. Even very huge side characters don’t get a lot of dialogue. The story kinda gets really in detail with one part, and will completely skip over another. It can be quite inconsistent. Other than that I quite liked the book. Lori Prince is an amazing reader!

I really really wanted to like this book, but as it went on, it became more and more drawn out and, quite frankly, boring. I hate giving up on a story so I stuck with it to the bitter end. I can’t recommend it.
