I like the partnership of the women on a case. But HATE losing a character that I really liked in previous books. It was a fast listen and ended too soon!

I think the writer jammed too much into the last 30 minutes. The Folsom prison scene was absurd. The intertwining of the 3 separate stories didn’t come together very well.

This did not have the usual red herrings and twists and turns that the other Women’s Murder Club books have had, but I wish it had been longer. Narration was superb and is consistent with the other WMC characters.

Not one but two crimes solved by the Women’s Murder Club using their professional combined police, journalistic, forensic, and legal skills . Most of all their fabulous friendship helps them sort through the puzzle pieces together to find the real serial killer and the cartel murderers. Excellent character development maintained through this entire series so you feel you know these ladies and their husbands. These novels elevate the value of women’s friendships for all to appreciate.

another #1 book in the collection and I'm on the edge of my seat the whole time. I love the wives murder club of Lindsay, Cindy, Claire and Yuki ... I love their characters, their stories and they're lives. don't know what I'll do when it finally comes to an end
