This was an extraordinary blast from the past. Took me back to that time of acid taking and weed smoking. I loved “Like this Broken Heart” We had the Funkedelic album with this song. George Clinton definitely made a permanent footprint in funk. Listening to this brought back that whole experience. Loved it!!!

I was born in 69 so I grew up listening to this music and I loved it then and still love it to this day. It was great hearing the backstory to some of my all time favorite songs. Perfectly read by the man himself.

I saw Parliament Funkadelic in 1969 at Maverick’s Flat and I’ve been a Funkateer to this very day. The Maggot Brain album is one of my favorites.
