I found this book to be perfect to get me out of my book hangover. My two genres I tend to go between are mystery/horror and romance, so it was quite fitting to listen to a murder mystery being written out by a character who is a romance writer. Without giving anything away, I feel like this was all stuff that could really happen to a person out of the blue if all the pieces fell together right. Definitely worth a listen!

I really appreciated the pace of this book and although it’s not a “great literary achievement “ it is thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable. The narrator was delightful.

A riot--Cosimano takes the reader on an adventure with surprises and laughs at every turn. Relatable characters, complicated relationships, just the right amount of intrigue, and women who have each other's backs-bring on the next Finlay Donovan novel!
