I love Dr. Becky and the way she coaches parents to be sturdy and loving parents. I’ve personally used several of her techniques / advice and they really work!

I wish there were a couple more pages at the end that included a reconnecting moment between the two kids, maybe modeling an apology offer and acceptance when he was ready to apologize.

I have the hard copy, too. The illustrations are simple and beautiful. I have it memorized from the amount of times my 21-month -old has asked me to read it!

As always, Becky articulates some of the most important foundations not only of parenting but probably of all human relationships while being fun and captivating. In just 9 min, I think maybe my husband can understand what takes me hours to try to communicate to him, and it’s accurate, empathizes with parents at their wits end, gives key phrases that can be used instantly, Maybe she could try to help current political leaders to find a way to not keep hitting and biting and kicking both their constituents but also colleagues and world leaders?
