I loved the Housemaid series and a lot of her other books but i can't say that i loved this one. It was OK. It was boring in the middle and she did repeat herself a lot, which i did not notice in her other books. There was a twist at the end which Frieda McFadden fans love. I can't say that I had figured it out, but it was not as shocking as some of her books have been. It was just ok.

Another Amazing story, and flawless narration.
Mcfadden took me into each character's mind so deeply, I feel they will be a part of me always. 4.5 on my very skeptical writing scale. 100% recommend.

Great story! My first Frieda McFadden read and loved it. Bought it on audible and thought the narrator was excellent, also! Usually listen to books when driving to and from work, but this one had me listening to it at home because I just couldn’t stop! Will definitely try other Frieda McFadden books.

I started this one the second it became available. Stayed up half the night hooked. Frieda always has a way of making me furious at her characters lack of perspective and common sense but then you look around and realize a vast majority of people are completely oblivious. This one kept me on the edge all the way through. Of all the possible outcomes I imagined she always finds the one I miss. This one I figured out a few small aspects but as usual the real bad guy managed to skate by unnoticed by me as oblivious as one of her characters. Great story great narrator. Highly recommend
